My Story.

I never considered myself artistic as a child. In 2020, during the quiet and isolation of the global pandemic, I picked up a paintbrush and began painting rocks. That small creative act became the spark for a growing passion.

I soon progressed to recreating animals and nature scenes inspired by artwork I admired and I've never looked back. Today, I live in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, B.C., where I draw constant inspiration from the ocean, nature, and wildlife.

I have three adult children and work as a Home Share Provider - a role that brings its own richness and meaning to my everyday life. My creative time is precious, and I find working with acrylic paints meditative, calming, and deeply satisfying.

I've had the opportunity to expand my skills by attending Fluid Art conventions in Las Vegas and Dallas, Texas. These experiences opened up an exciting new world of techniques, including alcohol inks, mixed media, and resin.

From realism to abstract, I continue to explore, experiment, and evolve as an artist. Each piece I create is a reflection of the peace I find in the creative process and I look forward to sharing that with others through my art.
